Plug-in module for expanding the OpenScape Business X3, X5 and X8 systems by additional 120 DSP channels.
When using the OCCBH module, a total of 128 DSP channels are available in the OpenScape Business X3/X5/X8 systems to implement network transitions from TDM telephony to IP telephony (VoIP) or vice versa.
Each call transition from IP to TDM or TDM to IP requires a DSP channel. Thus, a maximum of 128 simultaneous calls between TDM and IP are possible in pure telephony applications.
Furthermore DSP channels are required for:
- UC-Suite – connections to voicemail, conference server or announcements
- IP-networked systems for each connection via the IP connection
- Encrypted calls
